The trio’s interplay on this record is incredibly tight—Wolfgang’s guitar lines weave perfectly with the rhythm section. The vinyl pressing is dead quiet, letting every cymbal splash from Brian Blade come through clear. A stunning addition to any jazz collection.

I put this on my turntable and the interplay between the trio is absolutely stunning, especially how the piano and drums lock together. The pressing is dead quiet, letting every subtle detail of the performance shine through.

The bass lines on this record are just phenomenal—Scott Colley really shines through the mix. Wolfgang Muthspiel’s guitar work is beautifully clear, and the whole trio has this perfect live energy. A fantastic addition to any jazz vinyl collection.
