DAMAGE & JOY

The gatefold sleeve is beautifully printed with the original artwork, and the vinyl itself plays dead quiet with no surface noise. It’s a solid pressing that really lets the fuzz and feedback shine through.

I’ve spun this deluxe reissue a few times now and the pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which lets the jangly guitar layers really breathe. The original 2017 mix holds up beautifully on vinyl, and the gatefold sleeve feels sturdier than most new releases I’ve bought lately.

The bass on this reissue sounds fuller and punchier than my original 2017 pressing — really brings out the grit in those feedback loops. The gatefold packaging feels sturdy too, no flimsy cardboard here.
