Castle Freak (الموسيقى التصويرية للفيلم الأصلي)

I put this on my turntable and the soundstage is incredibly wide for a 90s horror score—Richard Band's strings really pop. The gatefold jacket has that classic Waxwork-style art, making it a perfect display piece. It arrived well-packed and plays flat with no surface noise, which is always a relief.

The vinyl pressing is dead quiet between tracks, and Richard Band's score really shines on this format. I was surprised how much detail came through on the low end during the more atmospheric cues.

The 180-gram vinyl feels substantial in hand, and the sound quality on tracks like "Mirror Dance" is crisp without being harsh. I wish the liner notes had a bit more detail about the recording sessions, but overall it's a solid pressing for horror soundtrack fans.
