Bunky Becky Birthday Boy CD

Derek Miller’s guitar work on this album is absolutely punishing in the best way—it’s like they’ve dialed everything up to eleven. The production feels raw and live, which is exactly what I wanted from a Sleigh Bells record.

Alexis Krauss's voice cuts through the noisy guitar tracks on this seventh album in a way that feels fresh, not repetitive. The production on "Bunky Becky Birthday Boy" is crisp and layered, perfect for a loud car ride. I've already played it three times since it arrived.

I put this on while wrapping gifts and the distorted guitar on the second track immediately hit me in the chest. It’s noisy and fun and feels like a celebration of their weird chemistry. Exactly what I wanted.
