Black Cascade (15th Anniversary Edition)

The deep purple swirl of this anniversary vinyl looks stunning spinning on my turntable, and the 18x24 poster captures the album's raw forest atmosphere perfectly. Side A sounds incredibly crisp and immersive.

The poster alone is worth it, but the colored vinyl itself spins with almost no surface noise, which surprised me for a special edition. The album’s atmospheric black metal sounds huge on this pressing, and the 15th anniversary packaging feels properly weighty.

The colored vinyl looks great, but my copy had a slight warp that causes a faint wobble on side two. The poster is a nice bonus, though the fold lines are pretty noticeable. Overall, it’s a decent package, but I’ve gotten better pressings for the price.
