Afro-Disco Makossa (CD)

I’ve been playing this CD on repeat since it arrived—the way the bass lines weave through those Afro-disco grooves is incredibly addictive. The production feels rich and warm, like a live session in my living room.

That first track instantly pulls you in with its layered percussion, it feels like a full-band performance in your living room. The production is crisp without losing the raw energy of the Afro-disco and Makossa blend. I've been playing it on repeat since it arrived.

The blend of Afro-disco and Makossa on this CD is exactly the kind of groove I was hoping for, and the track transitions feel seamless. Only wish the liner notes had a bit more detail on the musicians, but the sound itself is top-tier.
