Action Painting (2CD + Book)

The first track where the violin bow scrapes against those guitar strings literally made me jump—it's that visceral. The 2CD set captures every bang and pow with such raw clarity, and the book adds a nice layer of context to the chaos.

I've never heard a violin bow used on guitar and canvas like this—the raw, percussive sounds on the 2CD are genuinely surprising. The book adds great context to the performance, making it feel like a full art experience.

The booklet that comes with this set is a fantastic dive into the creative process, with detailed notes that made me appreciate the performances even more. I've been listening to the two CDs on repeat, and the raw energy of that violin bow scraping the guitar is unlike anything I've heard before.
