Selected Ambient Works 85-92

Picked this up for a quiet evening and the bass on the second side really fills the room. The vinyl itself arrived flat and clean, no warps or skips. Exactly the warm sound I was hoping for from an old favorite.

The crackle-free surface lets those lush ambient pads breathe perfectly, and the bass on "Xtal" rumbles with a weight I didn't expect from a standard pressing. Side B's transitions feel seamless, making it a proper late-night spin from start to finish.

The 12-inch pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which makes the ambient textures really shine. I’ve been playing side two on repeat for days.
