The vinyl pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which lets all those intricate micro-beats really shine through. I’d forgotten how intimate and layered this album sounds on a good turntable.

The gatefold sleeve has a nice matte finish that feels sturdy, and the vinyl itself arrived flat with no warping. I’ve been spinning side A on repeat and the dynamics really bring out the subtle textures in the production.

The pressing on this import is clean and quiet, letting the layered beats and strings shine through perfectly. Björk’s vocals have a warmth on vinyl that I never get from digital files. Arrived well-packaged and plays without any surface noise.
